Meet the LANKansas Staff

thynking aka: Brandon Trube

I am the Chief Technical Officer for LANKansas, LLC. I come from a strong I.T. background and own a web design and computer service business, Trube Technologies.  I am also a PC gamer that can trace my gaming roots back to an Apple IIe Home Computer and a Commodore 64, where I first got my interest in programming.  I prefer First Person Shooter style games.  My favorite games are the Call of Duty series.

On October 10, 2010 (10/10/10 at 10:10 I married Jennifer.   Jennifer is an accountant who will complete her Master's Degree in 2011, and helps out at LANKansas events when she is not buried in homework.

I have a beautiful wife, Caroline (married for 7 years) and 2 kids (Adrian - 13 and Jaydon - 5); I am a Christ Follower by choice not by tradition or coercion. Ask me about my faith, but be prepared to listen! I started my own business building and servicing computers, and I am 1 of 3 founders/co-owners of LANKansas, LLC.

I am a hardcore gamer, XBOX 360 and computer games... I am the founder and co-leader of 'PWNT CLAN', an active and elite group of gamers on XBOX 360 who play first person shooters like Call Of Duty, Battlefield and Medal Of Honor. We are very organized and highly skilled, with over 25 active members across the country. So if you happen to be playing Call Of Duty Black Ops online and see the 'PWNT' clan tag on a players name... you might was well back out cause you bout to get PWNT in the FACE!

I am 22 years old and have been married for 3 years. I have a beautiful 19 month old lil girl that is my entire life. I am a hardcore gamer from way back. I started gaming at the age of 4 with ZELDA on NES. I had the game memorized at the age of five and my gaming career started there. From there I advanced into all games, from Final Fantasy, to Mario demolishing them all.  Cool

My main gaming focus is COD I started playing COD with COD 4 Modern Warfare and have played a minimum of 3 hours a day and I am in the process of becoming part of the MLG ProCircuit.

    Whats up everyone! My name is Jared but most people call me Jay and have since high school. contrary to popular belief I am not Mexican, or for that matter of any Latino origin. I am half Apache and half Caucasian. I am 24 years old and married with two beautiful daughters, Aiyana and Leilani. I have been married to my amazing wife Carol for 3 years now, and have been loving every minute of it. I am currently a student at Butler and I am transferring to Wichita State in the Spring, GO SHOCKS! I am majoring in Medical Science and will hopefully be pursuing my Masters to become a PA.
     
    Okay, enough of the boring stuff, lets get to the gaming. I would say I have been gaming for quite awhile now. I wasn't into online game play until my friends turned me on to a little game called Halo 2. Before that I was hitting up Golden Eye and Resident Evil 2 on N64, ahhh the good old days! When I started playing online it didn't take long before I was hooked. I started on xbox with games like Halo 2, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 1-2, NFS Carbon, and Fight Night Round 3. Gaming really started to get competitive for me with the release of COD4, but when MW2 came out is when my whole mentality for gaming changed. Gaming from then on has become my one true passion. So since I joined the online gaming world, my passion has just been snowballing ever since. Now that I have teamed up with Lazy Day Games and LANKansas I feel that the sky is the limit. I have been given the opportunity to make my mark on Kansas gaming, and I intend to do so. Both my teammate and long time friend Kevin aka PlaGue Hir3dgun and myself are in the process of joining the ranks of the MLG Pro Circuit.
     
    I would like to throw out an invitation to any Kansas gamer that would like to join me on xbox live. Just friend request PlaGue R3FLEX and tell me you seen me on LANKansas. Also PlaGue Gaming is currently recruiting for gamebattles and are open to any tryout requests.
